State Bank of India, an Indian multi national public sector bank emerged as a “Mega Bank” after the merger of it’s associate banks i.e. State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur (SBBJ), State Bank of Hyderabad (SBH), State Bank of Mysnore (SBM), State Bank of Patiala (SBP), State Bank of Travancore (SBT), State Bank of Saurashtra (SBS) and State Bank of Indore (SBI – Indore).
SBI now joined the list of world’s top 50 largest banks. From the new financial year ( 1st April 2017) all SBI’s associate banks will work as SBI branches.
SBI unveiled its new brand identity, designed to position SBI as technology savvy, modern & progressive bank, ready to meet the financial needs of all Indians.
